We ordered for takeout. The order was correct and done within the time frame. The employees were friendly and the restaurant was clean. I got the fish tacos and the fish and toppings were just the right amount and balanced. My fiance got the shrimp po boy. It comes with fried shrimp and they give you a great amount. He really enjoyed it as well.

We had a great dinner here.  I was very impressed with the cleanliness and overall appearance.  Very clean and updated.  The bathrooms were immaculate.  Service was ok, but it was busy with a Jags playoff game.  Our food arrived quickly.  We had a shrimp patter and 2 shrimp po boys.  Shrimp were great.  Fries were good as well.  We also liked the cheesy grits.  The side of hush puppies were also tasty, but a little over fried.  They have decent coleslaw, not too wet and not too dry.  I look forward to trying them again the next time we are in the area.

We brought our catch from our fishing trip the previous day and Southern Coast Seafood cooked it to perfection blackened, fried, and grilled!  The best fish I've ever eaten.  Great service, food, and atmosphere!  Highly recommend!

This place had great staff,  awesome food and super friendly service. It was so good we went there two days in row. Taylor made sure we were taken care and went about expectations when she was able to accommodate my sister's preference with her food Taylor - you earned your tattoos,  now go get'm.

Holy moly... This was such a great choice! All of the food was phenomenal. We had the fish bites and chips as an appetizer, even my 2-year-old loved it! I recommend maybe a side of ranch if you are a saucy person. Everyone had different meals and everyone seemed to be highly satisfied!  My husband has the shrimp and grits and was thoroughly impressed. I have a shellfish allergy and I was able to eat all the fried things as well as they made blackened fish tacos that were tasty. I might recommend a little extra seasoning. Sorry for no entree pictures. Apparently we tore into dinner lol. We ended up ordering three desserts to share, again, all were tasty! We ate on the patio with our two littles, ages two and four. Both were entertained by blocks and foursquare. We sat just underneath the awning which had a fan. Perfecto  Definitely recommend a stop here when in town!

A new place for me to visit frequently. The Environment is bright, inviting, and clean. Service was great and timely. The food was good and the drinks were delicious. I would've liked the calamari to be crisper but aside from that I enjoyed my meal. Crab cakes, shrimp and grits, sweet potato mash were had.

WOW! This place has amazing seafood. You can not go wrong with anything here, it's all fresh and cooked to order. Our new favorite seafood restaurant. Craft beer on tap, cocktails, and friendly service!

Had to spend the night in Jax this weekend, and we were so happy we stumbled upon this place. All of the food was fresh and delicious, the portions were big, and our server, Nicole, was awesome. We will definitely be back!

What a pleasant surprise this gem is!!! Price was well worth it. Food absolutely   delicious.   Got a seat instantly!!  Will be back!

I called one of my buddies who we've ate piles of fish with in the past at my house and his house, I told him I was going to Southern Coast seafood restaurant. He said, no Dean, don't go you just won't be happy. I said, I've read a lot of reviews and I got to My family and friends are avid fisherman, we fish inshore and offshore, Gulf and Atlantic. I called one of my buddies who we've ate piles of fish with in the past at my house and his house, I told him I was going to Southern Coast seafood restaurant. He said, no Dean, don't go you'll just be disappointed. I said, I've read a lot of reviews and I got to try it I got to give these guys a chance. The waitress was very nice, she told me the specials. One of the specials was triggerfish, one of my favorites. I ordered the triggerfish, french fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised! I will be returning to this restaurant. I just hope they don't change and do something like other restaurants have done in the past. The triggerfish was fresh and it was fried perfectly, the french fries were very unique, they had like a batter on them and they're very good. The hush puppies look small but they were really good, they had corn in them and they were very well cooked. Coleslaw was a little coarse but I'm not going to complain about that everybody has her own kick on coleslaw, it was good. The cocktail sauce was excellent and the tartar sauce was wonderful. I can't wait to go back and try the snapper throats. I highly recommend Southern Coast seafood restaurant.
