Your treated like a farm animal at any of the windows when you walk in and they don't help with transportation to the facility , they will give you a 24hr bus pass to get you off the property though, also they don't provide a case manager or any real guidance and the place is infested with roaches, They claim that they help with rent /bills /food /housing ect... But I can't seem to get anything except some crazy pills that will probably give me side effects to need more meds for those. I'm going to ask for a booklet to see how they are supposed to help because it's all excuses that the state of Nevada isn't funding them properly.

I have been a "Client" at SNAMHS for at least 6+ years.😌I can tell you they have Saved my life! Im Grateful beyond words..espec for Dr Chris😇n Dr Sean😇.They are ALWAYS there for me at my lowest of low times😥..there r Plenty of them.They also share in my UP😁times..n lately there's been lots of Them!😂(except for 1 MAJOR bump😥) Everyone there Really cares about us😇!

Dr. Joyce Oates, Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health Henderson office is largely responsible for the death of my Domestic Partner of 10 years who died March 16th at only 34 years old because of a very dangerous combination of Psychotropic drugs Dr. Oates continued to prescribe and authorize refills for after several request for routine lab work and physical examination of the patient where made my the family and refused by Dr. Oates and her assisting nurse at 1590 W Sunset Rd, Henderson, NV 89014 . Dr. Oates was totally aware that the patient she was prescribing to had already had a terminal but treatable illness but was also gravely disabled and could not care for himself or even tolerate the medications she continued to prescribe without follow up. If you are a client with Southern Nevada Adult Mental Health it is imperative for you to know that these people do not care about you or are any problems you may going thru. Their concern is to make shure you don't cause any more problems for anyone else to deal with my keeping you heavily medicated with total disregard for your current health status or overall well being. They are not here to deal with your underlying problems. My purpose for this post is to bring awareness to this subject with the intent of executing whatever means neccesary to see that doctors such as Dr. Joyce Oates are required by law to follow thru with routine blood work and a physical examination that is recent for prescribing and refilling such dangerous drugs to the clients they are supposed to be helping not knowingly silencing them with a pharmacuetical death sentance. Yes Dr. Oates told him theese could kill him and expected him to understand ( a special needs mentally handicapped adult) and they certainly did put him to his death.
