Story

Nestled along the Mobile Bay, Southern Veranda Flower & Gift Gallery creates floral arrangements that tell a story. Locally owned and operated since 1994, we believe in the value of artistic excellence and ingenuity. Whether we’re using wooden boxes as our containers or moss and tree branches as accents, we care that each design is well-orchestrated and uniquely beautiful. Owner and head designer Carl E. Clark Jr., AIPD brings over 30 years of design experience to a team that’s dedicated to going the extra mile. After all, everyone who walks through our doors has a different milestone to celebrate and a different tale to share.

Cathy was very helpful and made my experience quite enjoyable. I wanted to make sure I was trusting my needs with a business and person that would treat me like I was a member of their family and she exceeded my expectation. I live in Seattle so sending a sympathy arrangement in AL was a bit nerve-wracking because I wanted to make sure our love and support would shine through the arrangement and it went way beyond that! I am SO glad I got to work with Southern Veranda Flower & Gift Gallery AND Cathy!!

Have used Southern Veranda for years and they absolutely never disappoint. Had an arrangement made for my mother’s 80th birthday and they outdid their Artistry. For unique artistic beauty I would Highly recommend SouthernVeranda.

I've had the pleasure of receiving a flower arrangement from Southern Veranda, which was so beautiful and unique!   Tonight I attended a loose stem flower arranging workshop with Carl. He is so very talented and makes learning very interesting. The workshop was AMAZING! I can't wait to learn more.

First my order was for my parents anniversary...it was not delivered until after they were contacted...the next day.  The order was placed 5 days earlier? In an effort to make it better they said they would do an upgrade on an already medium sized order...I could have gone to Walmart and got flowers that were equal to what they delivered...with a card thanking them for a golf cart...yep...not Happy Anniversary - but thank you for a golf cart.   
 My mom had to run out to the car with the card to see what was going on.  I am not sure what is going on there but I gave them a chance to make it right...and they failed big time.   I will not be back.

First of all I called Friday morning to send a friend some flowers for 1st thing Saturday morning, the lady I spoke to said it would be first, I ignored the fact that she was rude because the shop had 4 stars on Google, well That was false, I called the shop around 1:30pm to ask why the flowers haven't been delivered  the same rude lady answered and said  well we had other orders come in.. so I'm guessing mine was put on the back burner... now when my friend finally got the flowers and she sent me a picture of the flowers and said thanks..  And that's what hurt the most o told the rude lady that took my order I wanted a huge pretty bouquet I spent $120 to ensure it.   This looks like a $29 bouquet that you get out of Winn-Dixie...this place will not get my business again
