Totally agree with the other post about the front reception staff. Aloof comes to mind if I had to describe their demeanor and social skills. I miss the warm and friendliness that SW Care used to be and would actually look forward to going to the doctor. Now it's like the vast majority of other businesses' customer service staff in New Mexico. They just can't be bothered.

Three words--'I LOVE them'. They are wonderful. From the staff to the doctors and assistants. This place is heaven for me and wish I had started going to them years ago! My doctor is wonderful and all staff has been terrific. I have not been treated for anything serious and I am in excellent health but I have no qualms about this facility under more dire circumstances.

The support that I have received at Southwest Care Center in Santa Fe has been superior. The office and support staff have always been courteous, friendly, and helpful, without exception. Dr. Michael Chartrand, my primary care physician, receives six stars! He is informed, kind, supportive, available and takes time to listen. Also, at one time, I met with Paula Devitt, RN and her assistant to obtain information regarding nutrition... once again I received personal and professional support.

My doctor is great but the reception and other staff are very rude. It feels like your entering a corporate atmosphere. Before it got so big it would feel like your entering a cozy home with family. At one time the staff were so humble they even knew my name, the staff would greet me with a hug and sometimes offer cookies or juices. I wish I could find another office like it used to be back in the day.

Appalling customer care. Patients who have recurring Rx needs are neglected if their PC is out-of-town. Patient is not informed, just told to wait for a call, which never comes. Physicians should log these patient needs so that another physician can sign an Rx. "first do no harm"? You have no idea how much harm this does. When they finally had my Rx, they said they couldn't phone me because the phone system was "out". What level of IQ is required to use a cell phone, in this case? Room temperature?
