Story

Located in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida, the SWFL Event Center is a state-of-the art, world-class event center serving Lee, Collier, and the surrounding counties.

This facility is over 27,000 square feet and offers many unique amenities, including a 650-seat theatre, a state-of-the art culinary test kitchen, broadcast center, and a revolutionary Podcast Cafe.

The Center offers a multitude of educational opportunities for both children and adults, as well as diversified cultural programming and performances featuring international, national, and local artists.

Minutes from Naples & the Gulf beaches, the Center has multiple banquet rooms & versatile function halls. Featuring a 650 seat dining facility and ballroom dance floor, we are SWFL's largest private event venue. Our brand new facility offers world class service & elegant interior decor.

Spent $70 to watch a movie last night. Rocky Horror Picture Show. Place was not even half full, was told cast quit the night before. Just moved to Bonita Springs and this was my first visit. Disappointed is the best word I can use to describe my first experience here. $70 for tickets, 4 cups of wine for $40 and a $10 tip. $120.00 to watch a 42 year old movie I could of watched at home. Please tell me why I should come back, I'd love to hear why. I'm open to second chances when my issues have been addressed and fixed. Like to many other businesses, once you got our money, its a closed deal and you can care less about customer satisfaction. We shall see.

11/29/2017: I just received another spam email from this absolutely terrible, second rate facility. This time it's from another provider because their first one permanently banned them for their practice of changing email addresses so they can spam people who made the mistake of attending one of their events even after we try to unsubscribe. Just avoid this place. There are tons of great, high quality, entertainment options available in Southwest Florida which not only provide great entertainment but which also respect their customers enough to not spam them for years after a single visit. 10/11/2017 Update. This sleaze ball is still sending me spam emails. I strongly, strongly encourage anyone and everyone to avoid this venue at all costs. The quality of their product is terrible, their customer service is even worse, and they spam you forever once they get their grubby hits on your email address. 8/11/2017 Update: This place is still sending me spam emails. I've tried unsubscribing several times and they completely ignore the requests. If you want a terrible, second rate experience that costs more than the good entertainment options in Southwest Florida followed by the idiot who owns the place filling your inbox with spam emails even after you try to remove yourself from his spam list, attend an event here. On the other hand if you want a high quality, enjoyable, fairly priced entertainment experience you can go almost anyplace else. Trust me, you'll be glad you went somewhere else instead of wasting your money here. I came here for their haunted house. It was one of the worst entertainment experiences I've ever had and was a complete waste of money. We got here at 8:45 and at 10:30 we were still waiting in line. Then when we finally got inside the whole haunted house lasted only 10 minutes. After that terrible experience, we went to the bar that we had paid extra for in advance only to be told that we hadn't gotten the right arm band when we checked in so we had to go wait in line to get the right arm band. After waiting in line for the arm band we had to wait in line again to be allowed into the bar when we would have already been inside if the people who had checked us in 2 and a half hours earlier had checked us in the way they were supposed to. Once in the bar, we were given a glass of fruit juice that was more ice than juice and was the "free drink" that we got with our admission to the bar. It was a complete waste of money. I want a full refund. Don't waste your time coming here. While the owner of this place didn't have time to respond to the email that I sent him before the event, or the email I sent him complaining afterwards, he did have time to send me a spam email advertising another event that his business wants to overcharge for. Based on my experience the people who rated this place as 5 stars are all friends of the owner and none of them are real customers.

Outstanding! Totally recommend this venue. Great shows and awesome food. Be prepared to spend a few dollars.

I was there last night for The Southern Momma comedy show. While the comedians from the few words I could actually hear were good. The speaker system was AWFUL!!! MISSED MORE THAN HALF THE SHOW because we couldn't hear. My entire party couldn't hear. We weren't the only ones there having this problem many patrons were in the lobby complaining. Extremely disappointing and a waste $150. I was embarrassed to have my family and husbands boss with us.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. THIS IS AN UNBIASED REVIEW BY THE WAY... FIRST THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNORGANIZED. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE OUR WEDDING RECEPTION THERE AND WE WERE WORKING WITH A MANAGER FROM THE BEGINNING AND HAD EVERYTHING SET IN PLACE AND HAD A CONTRACT AND EVERYTHING. 2 MONTHS BEFORE THE WEDDING THEY CALLED ME SAYING WHAT THE PREVIOUS PERSON CHARGED ME Was NOT FAIR AND THEY NEEDED TO RENEGOTIATE MY CONTRACT AND RAISE THE PRICE. ON TOP OF THAT THEY STARTING SAYING HOW THE PREVIOUS MANAGER FOR FIRED AND HOW BAD OF A JOB SHE WAS DOING CAUSE SHE WASN’T MAKING THE COMPANY ENOUGH ME AND COSTING THE COMPANY MONEY CAUSE SHE WAS CHARGING TOO LITTLE. THEY WANTED HER TO CALL HER CLIENTS AND TELL THEM THEIR CONTRACTS HAVE TO BE RENEGOTIATED JUST SO THEY CAN MAKE MORE MONEY. THAT PLACE IS MONEY HUNGRY!!!!!!!! THEY SUCK. THEY WONT LAST. AND I️ REFFERED PEOPLE TO THEM AND WISH I️ NEVER DId. STAY AWAY. DO YOURSELF THAT FAVOR. DANNY JUST FOLLOWS WHAT THEY SAY LIKE A PUPPET.
