Had such a good time here on a 2/19. Celebrated the bfs bday. We did the BYOB option and paid about $85 per person for 3 hours, we ordered some food and mixers for the drinks and also provided ice and cups. It was a packed house, to get to the 11th floor was not quick due to the amount of people waiting in the lobby for the elevators. The room was so dope. We controlled the lights, we used youtube to choose the songs and had a beat machine that the guys were going crazy over. Overall had so much fun and would go back.
Just an OK place to go for Karaoke. The design was pretty cool and gives off a good vibe. Everything is totally overpriced. Their system is slow and buggy. Remote control is very difficult to use.
Place was fun but the service was TERRIBLE. Way too overpriced. We ordered food that took over an hour to take out, they didn't bring it until we had only 10 minutes left in our reservation. Food came out cold. On top of that, we told them beforehand to cancel it because there was little time to eat. There seemed to be miscommunication because they still brought the food out. There was also a 20% gratuity which equated to an extra $60 for us. Not at all worth it for their horrendous servers. Service was horrible and place seems to be managed by a bunch of kids who have no clue what they're doing. Karaoke is nice but I recommend going elsewhere.
This is my first bad experience at a karaoke bar after going to five different karaoke locations in New York. This is also my first time leaving a review complaining about bad service in the one hundred plus reviews I've written. My main complaints about this place: 1. The staff I interacted with were rude, and didn't seem like they had much time for us it did appear to be a very busy night for them, so maybe they were understaffed, but it still made for a terrible experience. 2. Their karaoke system was glitchy. We would queue a song. The song would come on, and we'd sing it. However, when the next song came on, it would still be the same song as before, and we'd skip it. We'd have to keep skipping five or six times, to the point where it became a meme -- we were being haunted by the same song. This happened multiple times with different songs. 3. They included a 20% automatic gratuity, but this was not made clear at all. It was written in fine print on the receipt, but on the same receipt there were the typical fields where you write the tips and leave your signature, making it very easy for someone not reading carefully through every line on the receipt to tip twice. I love karaoke but I will absolutely not be returning to this place.
Space Karaoke has a legit bar setup with spacious rooms all around. The vibes are tight, but their default karaoke system's song selection leaves much to be desired. They hook up YouTube as well in order to compensate, but switching between systems and navigating everything UI default is Korean can be difficult. Still, both times I've come through have been awesome, largely due to the atmosphere, attentive bartenders+staff, and the magic of private room karaoke.
Karaoke rooms are fun, clean and a great time! Staff is responsive over email. Overall we had a good experience once we were in the room, but some things didn't rub me the right way. 1. We made a reservation for 10pm. When we got there, they told us our res was 10:30. I checked back at my emails and saw that it was actually 10pm, but because of the elevators see below we ended up not even getting upstairs until 10:20 so we were ok waiting a little longer to get the full 2 hrs. 2. We then had to wait an additional 10 min because of the party before. Thankfully the staff did not kick us out until 12:40 given that we had paid for 2 hrs and I did give them a hard time about it 3. Elevators are small and we waited 15-20 min to get one for our whole party. Definitely need to get there 15-20min early. 4. Tip/service charge is included in the bill so be mindful of that when they come with the check as they will do it towards the end of your res after you've been drinking probably intentionally.
This place is superb for groups/parties! The bartenders are incredibly nice and attentive! They are accommodating, always asking for what we want/prefer! The food is great, very flavorful plus the service is quick! Drink menu is expansive! I recommend!!!
First, I was assured via email that I had a room for up to 25 people, but the room only fit about 12. I ended up having 16 people total and we were on top of each other. A lot of songs were missing from the selection. Like a good 25% of the songs I looked up, many of which were very basic popular songs, weren't there. The controls are all in Korean so it took a solid 30 minutes to figure out how to skip songs etc. Also the waiter does not come when summoned, I was there for 2 hrs and only got to a order a drink twice - once when we sat down and then he only came back one other time despite us calling him multiple times. When I complained at the end that the service was terrible, I was given a blank stare. There are countless karaoke options in Ktown and NYC in general, I'd skip this place. I heard Sing-Sing in St Marks is better.
Really fun place! There was a bit of a wait for a room but it was a Saturday night so not too surprised. The food was good and the staff was friendly and attentive
SCAM ALERT - On November 18th I went here with my friends 12 of us total for karaoke. The business decided to charge us for 15 people and on top of that give themselves a almost $450 tip ON TOP OF 20% GRATUITY. I have emailed them numerous times in order to get this rectified however the last email I got over a week ago was "sorry we're taking so long to respond to this issue. We'll look into it soon" and I never heard back. The whole time they are ignoring this situation I have been stuck with this on my credit card and suffering the consequences. I do not recommend going there.
