We have been going to Sparks for nearly 30 years. They are HONEST and will tell you if something doesn't need fixing, or there is a cheaper way to take care of it. They will never try to up-sell you on unnecessary parts or accessories. When looking to buy a used car we have them looked at by Sparks to get the thumbs up or down. Everybody knows "a guy" These are my "Guys"

A mechanic invited me in for him to take a look at my car. TWO days later he calls to tell me the problem. I couldn't afford the $2,000 so once I told him he all of a sudden he says I owe him $70 for diagnosis. Then when I went to pick up my car, it had been sitting in the parking lot for 3 days with the doors unlocked and my battery was dead! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I found this shop through the web site of "The Car Guys" (Bob and Ray, "The Tappet Brothers"), and have always been pleased. The owner, Vikram "Victor" Patel, is just the nicest guy. He does good work, does it quickly and at a reasonable price, and is more than willing to go the extra mile. When the motor for one of my electric windows failed, he looked into the issue and called me back with two options: a new part direct from the manufacturer (quick, but stunningly expensive) or a used part from a junk yard (slow, but half the price). I went with the slower option, and it worked just fine. I appreciated that he went to the trouble of finding that option for me.
