I have been getting my cakes here since my first birthday. They have been a major part of my life and always a tasty treat I look forward too! Brenda recently went above and beyond to make my dream cake a reality for my wedding. It was BEAUTIFUL and tasted just as good as it looked. This bakery is always consistent, affordable, very helpful & friendly while delivering a great product! I highly suggest using them for all of your bakery needs!!! Especially Brenda.

Today I went to Spartanburg Bakery to pick up a cake that I pre-ordered weeks ago for my niece’s birthday.I was told that the pick up time was at 4:00pm. Today I arrived to pick up my cake at 4:00 as promised. At 4:15 an employee came out and fed me excuses on how they had lost the image on what my cake was supposed to look like. I still had the picture of what I wanted so I showed them.She then came out 20 minutes later with a cake that looked nothing like I showed her. From then I asked to speak with the manager and was told, “ we don’t have a manager we have an owner and she won’t come out here to speak with you.” From that statement and a$20 reimbursement for my wait I will NEVER give another dollar to Spartan Bakery. The so called “best” cakes in town.

Have ordered couple of cakes in the past and just got one for this weekend for my husbands Birthday. Frosting very good, but white cake very dry, won't order another, and I would never have the white cake from there for a wedding cake. Need to make lot more moist.

We used spartan bakery for our wedding 7/15/17, we gave I believe her name was Brenda, all the information and pictures of how our cake was supposed to be set up and she never relayed the information to the individual that actually set up our cake, not only did the cake look horrible because she doesn't know how to properly align an image on a cake, but we used my wife's hand made engagement ring box (being told shed use wax paper and supports so it doesn't sink in the cake and it would be protected) yeah, that didn't happen. By the time it came to cut the cake, it had sunk in, ibalmost scrubbed the paint off trying to. Get off icing. All the pictures of the cake turned out horrible because of their error they refuse to own up to. I've called multiple times demanding a refund and they always say we'll call you back and never do. I've tried for over a month. Word of the wise, never f*** with a woman's wedding day. My wife is still upset about it and they aren't doing anything to correct it. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND. Worst service ever. Employees need to learn to communicate with each other when it comes to someones day that's so important to them.

Brenda is amazing!! My girlfriend and I called last min one day last week and needed a cake made and delivered THAT day for a close friends birthday... Brenda was so nice and caring! She took great care of us! She didn't have anyone to make our delivery so she done it personally herself for us! Talk about great customer service!! Brenda done an amazing job on the cake also! Our friend loved his cake! He was very impressed with the cake (looks as well as taste!) We have never met Brenda, we just called to make the order and she was the one who helped us and we must say... Brenda is amazing and her kind, caring, going above and beyond attitude has made us customers for life here!! Thanks again Brenda for going above and beyond for us and for making our friends birthday great!! 5 Stars!! Very happy!!
