Our son Dakotah has Autism, very large, 19 not pediatric....the staff and Dr. BIRCH were AWESOME! I was so tensed up because that's my nerves I guess. They never made me feel that it was an awesome experience. Thanks to All of you for making it a very easy visit.

Very warm and inviting office and staff! Dr. Birch is so kind and great with our child! The dogs are an added bonus! We love Spartanburg Pediatric Dentistry!!

I don't want to leave a bad review because everyone was super friendly, but I also want people to know there are other options. After a top notch sales pitch (complete with a cozy, private room, grusome pictures, and a "act now" tag line), we were informed our 2 year old would need to be put to sleep for two to six cavities. I knew she had two and the other possible four have yet to be confirmed. We were assured this was standard procedure of every office: a shot of ketamine, taken away from us, put to sleep without us, and "operated" on. However, due to our past medical history, we are well aware of the dangers that come with any level of "sleep" in a 2 year old. We also know that a shot of ketamine would practically paralyze her, still conscience, as they take her away from us to put her to sleep alone. I fear that would be way more traumatizing. After the "act now" tagline, I asked about waiting until she's older. These teeth are tiny cavities now. We were shown more gruesome pictures of completely deteriorated teeth with abscesses and again reassured that this was standard procedure for every office. It's not. There's another close by office that assured us they wouldn't put our child in danger like that. Again, not trying to be harsh because they were super friendly, especially to my husband who got a little blunt. They just won't be practicing their sales pitches on me or standard procedures on my children again, especially with a more practical, safe facility so close by.

My daughter has been coming her for 4 years now. She don't ever wanna see another dentist. She loves Dr Birch and all his staff.
