Used to love this place. Went here every time our laundry was down. Went in once to get quarters, since they've a change machine, and the owner came up and said he won't give quarters to non-customers and proceeded to open up the machine and give me my $10 note back.

This business is run by a mean old lady and her sad son, they are very rude and constantly yelling at people how to use their machine. I was putting up with them and bring business to them regularly until her sad son shut off faucet water on my while I was washing my hands, he said thats how they Save water. Unbelievable!

After discovering that all 3 of the dryers in my building weren't working, I walked over to this laundromat. I'd used it once before, and thought that the owner was a bit strange. He'd shared his hard-luck story with me, which revolved around the fact that the laundromat wasn't very profitable. I wasn't surprised, as the majority of the machines are older, and he tends to micromanage, being sure that you don't cause any damage to any of the vintage equipment, lest he might actually have to invest something in his business. There's a dryer that actually has a message written in marker telling customers exactly (via a crudely drawn arrow) where to hit the machine if it doesn't start. On this particular visit, I had a load of wet clothing that I'd washed in my building's machines, not realizing all the dryers were out. The owner recognized me and said hello as I came in, then started chatting with another patron. He made a point of breaking off his conversation to interrupt what I was doing, saying that it was a rule of the laundromat that you have to wash your items there before using the dryers. The reason he gave for this inane policy was that, "he didn't know what I've done to the items, and (of course), he didn't want anything to happen to his machines." At this point, I was fairly frustrated and I got into a quarrel with this idiot, which resulted in him referring me to a competitor just up the street (M&M Laundry). I walked into M&M, took out my wet load of clothing, put it in the dryer, and read a book while waiting, with not a word of objection from any of the staff----the experience you'd expect to have at a laundromat. Don't patronize this place--the sooner that cretin of an owner is out of business, the better.

Great laundromat! My first time here and had no problem with any of the machines, clean place, airy, and the staff was so nice and helpful! Found a new place to do my overdue tons of laundry!

Love this little neighborhood laundromat! I've been to many on the north side of Chicago as a few apartments of mine did not offer laundry Just a few cons: no public bathroom, no parking lot (unless I'm missing something) Pros: incredibly friendly and helpful staff, clean equipment and space, quiet and never crowded, cute local businesses surround, free wifi, and my favorite- the speedy dryers. Honesty, I have laundry in my building but my landlord's equipment is even more expensive and doesn't work nearly as well! I spend way less time doing laundry here than at home, so that says a lot seeing as I drive out of my way to get here rather than doing it in my apartment building.
