We learned we could drive through in our A/C'd auto during a very hot summer day and still have the possibility of seeing some birds.  We were pleased to find an abundance of meadow larks and swallowtail kites.  There were a few hawks, doves, and lots of vultures.  Would definitely recommend this as an option for an out-of-the way uncrowded place for bird watching.

If you've never explored a wildlife management area, this will be fun to drive down the dirt roads and see the typical SW Florida vegetation in this are that used to be pastureland for grazing cattle.
