We went to Spiro's today and had an incredible  brunch! I had been once before and ordered what became my favorite torta in NYC! This time we tried their breakfast and it did not dissapoint. We ordered the Ranchero omelet and huevos ala Mexicana with rice and beans. Both helpings were generous and absolutely delicious. Their menu is expansive so it's a great place to go when you're feeling a bit indecisive. I look forward to going back to try their hot bar food items and burritos!

I’ve visited this Cafe for the past month daily for breakfast and occasionally even has my office Lunch from this place. I’m never one to complain however the customer service I received today May 12th 2022 @4pm was not expected.  I ordered a Beef Nacho around 3pm. When I returned to my office and took a bite and realized the order was steak and different from my usual “ground beef” order I get when I order with my office. I walked back to the restaurant and and spoke to the woman that took my order in person and politely said sorry I think I received the wrong order I requested beef and this looks like steak and my receipt says steak. She looks at me and said you did order steak you said beef. I mentioned that usually when I order beef I receive the ground beef and I apologized as I did not request Ground beef. She went on to say yeah steak is beef when you say beef you get steak. I asked if there was anything that could be done because I don’t eat Steak with my nachos she responded no you ordered beef. I said ground beef is beef  but I got steak. However I get where I was wrong but as someone that leaves industry city to make a conscious effort to support local small businesses I would expect customer service to be a bit more welcoming and take ownership of the fact that the cashier did not ask to clarify. Example hey I see you ordered beef we usually provide steak is that what you wanted or did you have ground beef in mind. She had poor customer service I asked to speak with the manager she said it doesn’t matter, I asked her if she could get the manager so I could explain she said you order steak I can’t do anything. So I left.  TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

My husband and I were in town for a few days. We stopped here the 1st night we got there, one of the only places open, and we were not disappointed. We came the next 3 mornings for breakfast. Food is fantastic. Portions are huge, we never left hungry. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back!!

Went to Brooklyn for a couple of day for the friend’s birthday party and stayed few blocks away from this restaurant. Wife and I went there first morning for breakfast. The food was great! Next morning we went back there with no hesitation. The cook out there is very friendly. We asked him to make us a nice breakfast and both of us ended up eating two meals. It was so good. The place is small just like most places around New York so most of their business is takeout. I wish that our hometown had place like this. There are three or four little restaurants nearby this one. DON’T EVEN BOTHER GOING ELSEWHERE! This place is a true diamond in the rough. Thanks guys!

Spiro’s is the truth!!! It is always dependable! You can always count on immaculate customer service, affordable prices, and delicious food! My colleagues and I used to order food from Spiro’s always daily that’s how amazing they are! Their carnitas nachos are !!! Their Mexican salad is also drool-worthy! And honestly, everything on their menu is outstanding! Definitely support this local business; it is a gem!!

That monterrey shrimp salad is good good good..Also the Avocado burger is delicious...

I LOVE Spiro!  I eat here way to often. The food is always so delicious,  huge portions  and reasonably priced.  The staff are awesome.  Carlos is amazing,  not sure if he is the owner or manager,  but he is definitely the boss... and he is so helpful and nice!

The pizza taste can be good but the way they treat it is questionable. The garlic bread be hard and tasteless, just garlic. The mozzarella sticks were decent a little undercooked.
