Story

This is a family oriented campground with a couple hundred full hook up sites, 41 full service cabins with heat/AC, full kitchen and bathroom, and several tent or pop up sites with water and electric. The campground features 2 large swimming pools, a splash park, 2 water slides, in ground hot tub, miniature golf, bumper boats, pedal go karts, paddle boats, aqua trikes, dirt bike track, new playground and many, many other family amenities.

I'm not sure who's writing the 4 star reviews but the people here are RUDE! When checking in, you'll be lucky to get a "welcome" from neither women in there. The staff is not friendly, they are not accommodating or welcoming; again not sure who's written the previous reviews. The water smells like sewer. They nickel and dime you for everything. Reading the response from the owner...all I can say is WOW! We will not be returning again.

Splash Magic is phenomenal! Just keeps getting better every year. Awesome place for families and kids. Thank you Ron Brown- he should be given an award 🥇! I have been to MANY campgrounds, Splash Magic is #1 hands down. So much fun !

The staff was not friendly at all! They say the pond is stocked but I would have to disagree. We along with many other guests weren't catching anything and we are very experienced fishers. The pool was fine. The playground was nice. The bingo night was boring. The shower facilities were disgusting. The ones by the office were moldy and had low pressure and cold water. They did have newer facilities over by the lake sites which were very nice. I have sent any email to the company about something we lost when we were there and I never got a response. We couldn't use the mini golf because it rained the whole time we were there so the area was flooded.

This campground is an absolute blast!!! Check in was smooth and easy. During my stay I had absolutely no issues with anything or anyone. Workers were pleasant and helped with anything they could. The wristband gives you access to all the games, let's you rent bikes and carts, and for your entire stay which is a major bonus. My family rented a golf cart for the week so we didn't use our personal vehicles at all so parking was a breeze. I'll definitely be back next year and many more times

Let's start off with first impressions coming down the road to the campground. There are several storage areas in the wide open that are filled with old unsitely campers that look like they have been sitting for years. We then entered the store to check in and we were not even greeted by the lady behind the counter. It was only after my wife said hi to her that she acknowledged us. After check in we followed our map to our site at which time we realized they told us to enter from the wrong direction. It would have been very difficult to back into the angled site from the direction we were facing. After seeing the size of the site I was shocked at how small it was. We reserved a site for a 28 ft travel trailer and this site was barely big enough for a pop up. At this time I talked to 1 of the staff who pointed to the owner and said talk to him. After talking to the owner I was told the campground was full for the weekend and he cold not help me. No apologies or anything. I could tell he didn't want to hear it. After unhooking I had to park my truck sideways in front of the trailer and had half of the truck on the road. We were right next to a cabin which would have been fine, but having a walking path in between us and the cabin gave us absolutely no privacy. We had a 8 ft wide concrete pad next to our camper and only 3 ft of grass beyond that. Every morning, we woke up to loud speaker announcements at 9:15 am stating Good morning, it's time to wake up and then the activities for the day. This is vacation and I should be able to sleep as long as I want. After 15 years of camping and many many campgrounds, this was a first! The pool area was nice, however the day we went there, the water slides were not working. That is the whole reason we came to this campground in the first place. The playground was great with the exception of having to buy a wristband to use the bounce pillow. You also have to pay extra for the bumper boats, pedal cars, and paddle boats. We spent enough to stay here, I wasn't about to give them any more money!
