Story

Welcome to Johnny Rockets, the home of all-American food and fun. Opened on June 6, 1986, our restaurant was created with a simple goal in mind: to serve American classics in an exciting atmosphere that invites great times and delivers equally great food. A place where friends and families can relax and escape their everyday routines while enjoying the spirit of yesterday. And a place where dancing servers and twirled straws are welcomed and celebrated.

With over 300 restaurants found everywhere from local neighborhoods to international waters, Johnny Rockets serves 17 million hamburgers, over 8 million shakes and 8 million pounds of American Fries each year. With each bite and every sip, all Johnny Rockets restaurants deliver the same promise—that you’ll get the freshest food possible in one of the most casual and memorable settings imaginable.

It's usually always busy. Best times to go is June and during the week. It is hard on days when there is summer camp, certain rides that are a big hit are the ones you are going to wait for a while. The ones with multiple riders are usually faster. If the double tubes are out then go for singles. It happens in waves. They might not have enough staff to have a person on each slide, which they should open up when it's busier hours. That is the only thing that is real frustrating. They also need more tubes because you are always waiting on line for either the tube for the ride or the ride itself.

Lines move very quickly in this park. Lots of fun for adults as well. Definitely going back this summer

I went there with my two teenage daughters on a hot August Tuesday. Park has good slides but what good is that if you have to wait on lines for more than an hour? We got there at 10:30 and stayed until closing (6pm). Got to go on 4 (!) slides and a lazy river. We paid $150 for the three of us, including parking and rental of one small locker. Four slides were not worth $50. I understand that many people want to visit water park on a hot day - so keep park open longer - 9am to 9pm would be good. Keep all the slides open too - several were not operational. Lines for food were very long too - not all registers were open. To add insult to injury - they closed the parking lot and we had to wait in traffic to exit in one single lane! We felt like it was absolute waste of our day and money. Absolutely not worth it! I will not be back! Next time we'll have a longer drive to Mountain Creek in NJ or to Camel Back. We had very good experiences with those two water parks in the past.

Biggest water park on Long Island ! So many different rides that you can spend the whole day there ! In peak season it gets extremely busy and you will be waiting on lines for a long time so I suggest trying to go some time during the week and to get there when the park opens. It is pretty expensive so if you are going to go make sure you plan to stay the whole day. It has rides and attractions for any age to enjoy which is very nice! They do not allow any food in so make sure you do not try to bring any in because they will confiscate it. They do have lockers there that you can rent to put your stuff in and they give you a key so you can go in and out if it as much as you need. The food is not very good there not many hearty choices.

Splish splash was a lot of fun. The food was a little expensive and the lines were long but overall it was an awesome spot for a date. The option for reentry was nice we left for lunch and were able to come back and enjoy the park for a few more hours.
