Never going there again. I tried going to them on at least 3 occasions and each time I had to deal with the same unprofessional stylist. 

First time trying something other than natural? Do not come here. If you are new to having your hair done (like me, because I've had dreadlocks all my life, but combed them out to join the armed forces), this is especially not the place to go. Different types of styles were not explained to me. Recommendations were never given to me. When I had questions (which was rare, because how do I know what to ask when I know nothing of the topic?), I received unhelpful, open ended responses which didn't help in me making any type of decision. Etc.

That being said, my previous visit was the last straw. The stylist made it very obvious that she was unhappy about my appointment date, which made me very uncomfortable and feel unwelcome. I do not know if there are multiple stylists, but I am aware of their business hours on their website, which I ALWAYS abide by, as everyone should. If you don't want to work on a certain day, change the business hours to reflect that! 

I think they are unaware of how easily moods transfer over to clients. I never leave there feeling refreshed, lifted, happy, or renewed. I leave wondering if I wasted my money, reevaluating my new hairstyle (and whether or not I like it), and asking why I bothered to stop by in the first place. Word of advice to them, if they ever read this, leave your attitude at the door, seriously. 

Imagine if you took your child to Disney, and one of their princesses offered an obviously fake smile and a half-ass greeting. Immediate turn-off. And if you were in a good mood at the time, its more than likely going to be gone. Impressions are important. Getting clients excited about how great they're going to look is important. Complaining and talking on the phone while doing hair... its got to stop.

I'm not getting my money's worth, so I will not be back. 

I've never left a bad review anywhere before, but honestly, this was long overdue.

I love her services​ she is very understanding you show her a style and she will do it. She's very professional had q nice clean salon and very friendly... I sure will refer her to people like i been doing keep up the good work!!!

Ive been going to this lovely stylist over 2 years. Charmaine does my hair as well as my daughters hair. She is always very professional, reasonably priced, knowledgable and quick. Ive seen her handle numerous situations where her professionalism was top notch. Ive had many styles completed by her and have never walked out unhappy. Also, Charmaine provides natural hair knowledge along with how to upkeep the hairstyle she completes. I will continue to use her services and refer potential clients because her work is excellent. BTW...scheduling an appointment online is quick and easy. Thanks Charmaine, keep up the great work. You have client for lyfe 😊

I should have listened to the ladies who Warned me about this place!! And if her response to the first reviewer doesnt give you some insight, she didnt even apologize for the bad experience, which is just like my situation. If she doesnt have time to do your hair she'll call up some random female and try to have them do your hair. Which after a year of business isnt something to be proud of. When someone comes to you they expect YOU to do their hair not some random person you call last minute. Also if your gonna have a shop regardless of where its located keep it clean.
