The Sports Academy is one of the better multi-activity gyms in the area. They really strive to have something for everyone regardless of age and activity level. Their personal training staff is very friendly and the equipment is pretty up-to-date. It's kept pretty clean, for a gym, and I've always preferred coming here over other gyms. I sometimes wonder if/when they'll look into a bigger facility but for now it works.

The gym itself is very nice and they have some good programs for the kids. However, their contracts are a trap! We met our one year contract and upon deciding that we no longer wanted to be part of the gym due to cost and we tried to cancel. We were told that we could cancel but they required a 60 day cancellation notification. Good luck finding that on your contract, apparently it is a verbal notification. As such be prepared to billed for two additional months after you try and cancel.

The contract is terrible just like everyone else is saying. You will pay the 2 extra months after your contract expires. I got a notice in the mail about this 4 days before my contract was up even though when I initially signed up I made it clear that I wanted to purchase one year of membership and that is all. I specifically remember asking about how I'd be able to end my membership and I was left with the impression that when my contract was up this wouldn't be a problem and they would not automatically bill my account. On top of all of this you don't get what you pay for. Everything about this place is crowded. You have to wait in line to do almost everything. There's always naked old guys in the hot tubs and if not then there's 20 teenagers with rich parents that act like they own the place. There's a million rules and none of them get enforced. The front counter is always staffed with teenagers that don't seem to want to be there or be bothered by members. There are not as many machines as you would think there are given the size and price of the place. The locker room always has wet paper towels and regular towels on the floor and it's generally disgusting. You will get the same quality of gym everywhere else in town but it will cost 1/7 the price.

This is the by far the best place to workout in Logan, I've been in many clubs but if you're looking for all the amenities...look no further. The staff is amazingly friendly and the equipment is top of the line.

I love the Sports Academy! I love how I can bring my kids in to the daycare and have them watched after while I work out. It's waaay cheap. Classes have been a lot of fun and I'm getting closer and closer to my goals. If you are thinking of a place to join, go check out the Sports Academy. I would recommend it to anyone!!
