Sportsman's Lodge has been a staple to me and my family.  I took my family here the other night and the food here was absolutely terrible.  The rolls and deserts were stale and dry.  They had chicken and it was burnt.  

The restaurant has an identity crisis of wanting to  be a smokehaus and wanting to be a German restaurant.  It's too bad they lost their focus because the German food used to be great.  Now it is absolutely awful.  I should have realized something was wrong when only 4 other families were there when normally the dinning area is full.

Omg I love this place. All the food was delicious and nothing was bad. Nice, clean atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

I eat there often.  Best place ever. GREAT surroundings, GREAT atmosphere, GREAT service!  IF you get seated where you don't want to be; ask and they're move you, unless there's a military function.
