I personally think that the education here was really good, a few understanding teachers but like all schools there will be teachers that can be frustrating. I would like to say a few things, I think at 2nd grade I had a teacher named Mrs Stadel, excuse my spelling as for I dont remember how to spell her exact name. I remember I was crying and another girl who is perhaps white (while I was asian) cried too, the teacher slammed my desk to the point I got scared and yelled for me to be quiet, while she helped the other girl I was sitting there horrified. Let me repeat, I was a confused little girl who had no idea what was going on and very upset. Now, a story about the gym teacher named Mrs Jansen. I think I was also in 2nd or third grade at this time, but me and a friend did something bad to others, as of course I regretted it the gym teacher disciplined us and we went back home like it was a normal day. She then emailed my parents that I was the one who started it, let me also say my friend was also white. I was very upset because I wasn't the one who started it at all, and she only emailed mine instead of the friend. Now, when i was in 5th grade we were doing "trust fall" where we had to trust the friend to catch us when we fell on purpose. I couldn't hold onto my friend because I wasn't strong enough when she fell, and my 3 friends including the girl who fell onto my arms laughed because we thought that was funny, of course Mrs Jansen came over to ruin my day. She was wondering why I couldn't hold onto her and I said because "she was just a little too heavy for to me hold onto her while she fell!" While we all still smiled and laughed, she then thought I did it on purpose and then replied something like "well that's just the person you are" thinking that I did it on purpose to make fun of her. I dont know if these teacher notices but not only did this made me anxious with trying hard not to cry and keep in my feelings, but it also made me not trust teachers, and not goof around with my friends even out of school.
