SLD provides Integrated Architecture and Engineering for Seamless Building Design.

Story

We work for public or private clients and design professionals who want an integrated architectural, preservation and structural design team. We save our clients time and money by close collaboration of the respective disciplines.

Our clients may initially choose SLD because in-house specialties make us more efficient, but they return because we take their priorities to heart. Our first and most important work is to understand our client’s essential project needs.

While our client’s priorities drive each project, an additional indispensable motivation that each member of our team has is a determination to achieve elegant design solutions. To us this means results such as an efficient use of space, a detail that makes a project easier to construct, or a material that more closely mimics the original without costing more. Our pursuit of elegance in simplicity, efficiency, or best purpose is how we take a project from simply good to great.
