Always a nice place to go, if you like to be in the sun & the breeze as most of it is all prairie. People on the trails are always nice....but those on bikes need to re-learn proper etiquette on trails, warning walkers they are passing. All it takes is "On Your Left", or they could have bells, lol. Was walking with my dad, who is much older, and we were startled a lot by bicyclists that never said nothing. But i should say that is an unusual occurrence.

Love coming here. Beautiful and well kept walking path. There is also a model aircraft field which is really awesome. You can see RC planes flying around while you're walking.

Beautifully well maintained park. Perfect for walking biking and running. Path is well maintained pushed a double stroller miles with no issues.

Beautiful 5.5 mile trail. But Limited parking. Saw full parking once, with people waiting in car. There is extra parking at the dog park entrance.

One of the more lackluster Forest Preserves in Dupage, but it is probably perfect for a bike ride. It's open prairie with the walking paths all paralleling busy roads; so there's no shade, little scenery, and not much of an in-nature feeling. That said, it is well maintained with wide peat-gravel trails and a very nice model air-field (paved landing field, work stations, shaded picnic tables, wind sock). Restrooms and trash cans are far and in-between, and my dog picked up several ticks just walking next to the prairie grass. It is my impression that most people use the eastern trails which have their own parking area and may connect to other bike paths or parks.
