Have never left a review, but after my experiences here I feel like I have to. If you would like to be ignored and ghosted as a patient, spruce medical is the place to be. I have tried to book virtual visits and was not sent any links to my appointment, and when I did receive a virtual appointment, nobody showed up. I am in need of an urgent medication refill, which I have stated to the doctors, but I will have to suffer without my medication due to the lack of attention to my issue. I have messaged them and got ignored, called and got put on long holds until their closing time lol, and no shows to my own appointment which I have scheduled in advance. This is truly the epitome of the current Canadian healthcare system, it’s a joke.
It’s a decent walk-in clinic available in weekends as well. Wait times are bit annoying in weekends, weekdays are still good. Dr.Vandana kumari is very knowledgeable and experienced doctor, so far I don’t have regrets visiting here. It would have been awesome if they have automated messaging to tell how many people in the line before you. So that we can go and Do other works instead of waiting and getting new Germs from people around
The opening times aren't very clear. Arrived at 9am cos other clinic was packed. Watched several patients arrive with the expectation the clinic was open. Google says 10am, sign says 9am. When it opened at 10am we signed in and were shown to a room fairly quickly. At 10:30am I asked where the doctor was. THE DOCTOR WASNT EVEN IN YET. The ETA of the Dr. is approx 11am. I'm pretty disappointed that they don't have a backup plan if the doctor is late. Not even an RN is here.
Frustratingly long wait times coupled with poor communication; patients are expected to walk in and wait 2+ hours for a 2 minute chat with no options for booking prior to appointment, even if the clinic requested to follow up. Absolutely abhorrent customer service.
Dr Jangra was so polite and professional I could not recommend him more. Wait times are quite reasonable too! He helped me with my issues and helped me see all the professionals I needed. Great clinic!
Brought my 5 year old niece to this clinic, the check-in was straight forward. When the Dr came in the room, she didn't even examine my niece, she stood 3 feet away and diagnosed her by a picture I showed her. No suggestions of treatment until I asked her, no questions asked, she didn't even ask my niece how she was feeling! She wasn't pleasant, barely spoke! I got more Information from Dr Google!
the actual service is very friendly and helpful. However, their time management is awful. So many times have I tried to show up early to beat the line, only for the doctor to clock in an HOUR late. Even with virtual appointments, they are delayed.
Google should ad to negative star of this type of service of clinic. I NEVER Written COMMENTS BUT THIS TIME I HAVE TO SHARE MY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH Spruce Walk in CLINIC at Kitchener location. Not professional and responsible clinic personnels. Ruin my day because of your negelance. If the doctor had gone for a day, your responsibility to let the patients know whose had been booked a appointment with doctor.
This place is ridiculous. If you are planning to visit this place, you have to expect to be there for at least 2 hours. They make you pay for TB tests even if you have health card and they make you pay for getting health forms signed, which no other clinics I went to asked me to do. Also, the receptionist is horrible at communicating. If they had communicated all this information before proceeding, I would have went to a different clinic. But they tell you to pay after everything is done. Every staff says different things and when they say “I will ask and come back” it takes another 30mins for them to get back to you. Very unprofessional and it is obvious that this is only a good place for students to buy doctor’s notes.
Did not give any medicine and asked to wait for few more days. Other doctor from another clinic had to prescribe antibiotic the very next day.
