There's little I can say about this worthless agency that others haven't already said. It's a case study in poor public service and what a transit agency shouldn't be and do. Seriously, other transit authorities across the country should study the SRTA. It's third-world levels of awful, unreliable service. I hate to even use the word "service" to describe it, since services are supposed to make things easier for people. Almost anywhere you are you're better off walking to your destination, if you're able to, rather than relying on the buses here. This agency causes more inconvenience than anything. It especially angers me because I believe strongly in robust public services, and the SRTA is the best ammo you can give to enemies of government services. I've been hearing empty promises about improvements that are coming to the SRTA. None have materialized. This agency is simply hopeless and at this point should just be dismantled outright.

Even though buses are supposed to wait for all passengers to load, they do not. If you are trying to make a connection between buses, you will not make it You can count.on being late fot work or other appointments. Example today when i took an earlier bus to get to work early, arriving at the terminal in just enough time to run between buses and have my bus drive away as I touched it. No senior citizen or anyone else for that matter should be disregarded in this matter. At least I was not standing ankle deep in snow at the stop as happened last winter when the bus drove past.

The schedule and routes are barely useable if you're trying to commute. Some of them see almost always on time, and others couldn't be on time no matter how hard they try. They don't want to fix the service because they funny really have too. Only game in town. No service on Sunday's at all is the most ridiculous thing ever. I use the bus to get too and from work, while I'm glad it's an option, I'm grateful that my office doesn't have a punch clock.

Have to leave an 1+ hour early if you want to be sure you get anywhere on time (even then good luck) . Been all over the country, worst bus system EVER. Unless I have 2 hours to get somewhere I usually just ride my bike. If this bus system is going to be this useless, they need to cut the price in half. You are missing more than half of my money I'll tell you that. Wake up srta!
