After I had my baby early due to preeclampsia, I went here to get my bp checked by professionals b/c I thought it was high. The nurse practitioner basically laughed at me and told me that my bp in the high 140s was normal for me. I disagreed and said that the top number was usually under 110. She said she verified in my records from a time (pre-pregnancy) that I had a high bp. My doctor later confirmed that when you are sick you can have an abnormally higher bp. I would think that she would know that and the one record she went from is when I was very sick. And this place isn’t equipped to handle a headache. They can do strep tests though. And even then, the person doing the strep test told me they would have results by the end of the day when it’s a pretty quick test. Someone else came in and corrected her right in front of me. All very awkward. The receptionist is very nice though.

Over the years I have probably seen all of the medical staff at Lake Delton Dean.  They have all been most professional,  attentive and courteous.  I believe it is due to my trusting relationship with my primary (Dr. Murphy) that I am alive today.  With only a hint of abnormal bleeding, I would not have consulted a less caring professional, for fear of being thought foolish.  But, wonder of wonders,  I did consult her immediately. She discovered I had an extremely aggressive stage 3 endometrial cancer.  Survivor of 2.5 years and I believe it is due to my trust in her professionalism and caring.

The last visit was a bad experience. The doctor was rude and made rude comments to my two year-old son. I filled out a servey to state my concerns about the doctor, which was sent to cooperate and received no response from clinic or corperate. Won't ever go there again.
