Story

The St. Augustine Aquarium & Snorkel Adventure is an exciting new attraction, now open, where you can observe 100s of reef fish & rays or get in the water and snorkel with them!
Feed sharks ,see Guitarfish,Southern rays, Yellow rays, Seahorses and touch invertebrates like starfish in our Phase 1!
In Phase 2 our guests will be able to observe Bonnethead and Blacknose sharks, as well as an array of mesmerizing fish, eels and rays.

Early phase of development; initial setting and exhibits.  Local support and tourism will clearly allow this venue to expand and reach its potential.  Highly educated staff is evident and adds credence to the commitment to the public in providing the best experience possible, even in its infancy.
Not  a challenge to Sea World, but provides a glimpse of colorful and intriguing aquatic life. Special features include snorkeling with sea life, feeding the Nurse sharks, and zip lining for an additional fee.  
Keep up the great work and hope they exceed expectations!

We had a great time at the aquarium. Let's be real- it's small. That's being said, the prices are great, the staff is top notch, from the folks in the gift shop to the biologist. The attractions are very well kept and the keepers are knowledgeable and professional, willing and able to answer questions. We paid the extra cost to do the snorkel adventure and we had an absolute blast. Our instructor was Jessie who was just awesome. He took great care of us and was very fun and interactive with the kids. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to spend a couple hours.

Very interesting, quite small. However it is a start up in it's infancy. The staff is knowledgeable and polite. I met the co-founder who was working in the snack bar, Kathy Mister (probably messed up the last name). She was very nice, pretty and not a bit ostentatious. You can snorkel with the fish and feed the Sharks! Priced reasonably with adults at $8 kids under 12 for $5. 4 & younger free!

Start up aquarium with 6 tanks. They have seahorses, horseshoe crabs, fish, nurse sharks, manta rays. I went through the exhibit in 10 minutes, but if you stop and listen to the workers talk about the animals it will last longer. Go when shark feeding time is, and I would definitely recommend you purchase the snorkeling adventure ticket! Super cool experience. You get to swim with fish and manta rays.

I cannot give this place ANY Stars!!  This was a huge rip-off!!  We paid for nothing.  At the touch tank - they said just tell us what you want to touch and we will pick it up for you to touch.  Come to find out, the only thing they were allowed to touch were the crabs.  Then there was a shark tank, with only 3 sharks in it that cost $5 extra to feed 2 items to a shark with tongs.  Adjacent to that was a stingray tank with 2 or 3 stingrays that you were not allowed to touch.  That was about it.  I cannot address the snorkel part, as we did not do that, however the rest was a HUGE RIPOFF!!  I should have caused a scene and demanded my money back.  We were there longer than 30 minutes, as there was nothing else to look at or do.
