We went for Sunday Evening mass at St Bernadette some times since we occasionally spend time at my mother's in-law's house. The Priests preaching accurately according to what God's wanted them to say. But they needs to give more details explanation and refer to each bible verse (read it again separately) with the current case since most people might not understand what the preachers said including my husband. He has mental block with Catholic. But it is beautiful church.

We were just visiting, since we are on vacation. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. I will go back again when I am in the area again. The church is a very beautiful.

I've been looking for a TRADITIONAL ROMAN CATHOLIC Church in the area, and in St. Bernadette's, I have finally found it. An aisle down the middle, not in the round. Music I know, not something that sounds like a Protestant mega-church. A Mass conducted with reverence and solemnity. No giant screen. No drums or guitars. For me, this is Church the way it is meant to be. THANK YOU!!

Parish is not welcoming, do not want visitors to be happy, do not like helping people find Christ, and just care about money. I wrote to the staff many times offering helpful suggestions on how to make the Mass more relevant to parishioners and the Deacon who apparently runs the place (the pastor seems to be uninvolved) told me I wasn't welcomed, to find a new place and to get therapy, and banned me from emailing the parish. Nice evangelization. I would avoid this place unless you like being told that you don't matter, that the deacon who runs the place knows best, and to be asked for money every five minutes once you walk in the door. It seems like they are probably having trouble paying the bills. The music is sad and depressing. The altar is so far away that you need binoculars to see what is going on because the priest doesn't want to be near the people.
