About the Department:

The St. Charles County, Missouri Police Department works to provide professional and responsive law enforcement services to St. Charles County 24/7. The Department serves approximately 378,000 residents in St. Charles County, Missouri and is comprised of more than 130 commissioned law enforcement professionals and over 35 civilian personnel.

The Department is directly responsible for the safety and security of residents residing in the unincorporated areas of the county and also provide specialized and supplemental services to municipal police departments on request. The Department provides contract patrols to the cities in Missouri of Augusta, Weldon Springs Heights, St. Paul, Flint Hill, Portage de Sioux, and West Alton. Additionally, the Department is responsible for providing full time law enforcement patrol services to the municipalities in Missouri of Dardenne Prairie and Weldon Spring.
