My father passed away very early on a Sunday morning and although we started preliminary planning due to his hospitalization and failing health, we did not have a pre-arrangement with any funeral home. About 20 minutes after his passing, the hospital asked us to contact a funeral home to pick up the body. As you can imagine, this was a very emotional time for the entire family. I am based out of town and my brother and I were on the phone wondering what to do and who to call and at approximately 8:15 AM on a Sunday morning, I was on the line with my brother in Florida and we called St. Fort's Funeral Home.

This decision turned out to be one of the best decisions we've made. The young lady that answered our called was pleasant, calmly and politely answered all our questions and gathered all of the pertinent information and immediately put our minds at ease. 

We subsequently had differing interactions with St. Fort and their staff during a 13-day funeral planning period. Each interaction, each conversation, face to face meeting or phone conversation with the staff and personnel increased our confidence that we had not only chosen the right funeral service organization, but that we were dealing with a professional, caring, and class organization. 

We had various and seemingly unusual request, at least to us, and the answer from the staff was always the same, we will make it happen. From having a processional band, to photography and videography, casket inscription, and others, all were well received and executed. 

There are a few detailed items that stood out to us during this time from St. Fort and those were their professionalism, compassion, consistent communication, and flexibility. 

No one wants to visit funeral homes and have regular, or even sparse interactions with this type of service. However, the moment will inevitably arise where their services will be required. I would wholeheartedly and based on other experiences and personal feedback, unequivocally say that you will not do better than trusting the caring of your loved ones to St. Fort's Funeral Home & Cremation.

I recently had funeral arrangements done for my father at the St. Fort's Funeral Home. I did not know where to begin since it was such short notice. The staff in particular: Evans, Shelley, and Cathy, guided me through, step by step.  They were professional, thoughtful , and understanding. The staff that assisted as well on the day of service and after, were great as a whole.  I would recommend St. Fort's. Thank you. And special thanks to Evans.

When a someone special passes on, not only is it heart breaking, but at times a burden. Evans and the staff at St Forts F.H, made me comfortable, and went over and beyond to make sure that my grandfather had a burial that we were extremely satisfied with. With all honesty, after the service we had more compliments about the service itself, than condolences. I highly recommend St. Forts Funeral Home to anyone who is in need of a honest, and respectful funeral home. They will work with you ( mentally - counseling), your finances, and just about anything else that we can think of. Great services, guaranteed to exceed your expectations!

St Forts  is not just a Funeral home they are a family also. My mothers funeral was just Saturday and everything was well done from the viewing leading up to the funeral ,nothing but outstanding work. What a great job, thank you.👍🏽🙏🏽
