St. James is such a family oriented church.  The priests are very informative in their Homilies, they don't just reiterate what the reading was.  There is a playhouse (plays volunteers have been putting on for 35+ years) and dinner in the winter, bingo on Thursdays, fish fry at lent, a BEAUTIFUL CHAPEL, and beautiful, wonderful parishioners.  You won't see a lot of people leaving right after Communion.  Most will wait till the recessional hymn is over : )
