Best of the best in Aurora. Great for fall photography or any season photography. Well manicured lawns. Great atmosphere. The horse stables are reminiscent of a fabled past. The grounds are well kept. Ideal wedding location for same and for the rest of us, a great weekend getaway.

St James is a wonderful spot for photos. I would definitely recommend it for its natural vibe, historic buildings and pet-friendly rules. There is no shooters fee that I know of.

Old fashioned beautiful brick parking lot welcomes you to one of the most beautiful  and well preserved farms In Illinois. I like this place a lot.

This is a nice family friendly place to check out. You can hike the property or bike it. There are a lot of different trails that you can take and it also connects into the Illinois Prairie Path (IPP). Since this is part of the DuPage Forest Preserve, there will be different events and functions going inn throughout the year as well. Go check it out and reconnect with nature!

In my opinion, the most picturesque forest preserve in the Naperville area.  Lovely historical buildings and walking trails.
