St. John's Lutheran Church is a family of believers who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and made His children by the power of the Holy Spirit. Through His Word and Sacraments, not only do we grow in our faith towards Him but also in our love for one another. But we know that His work in our lives is never finished; He desires to use us - and the gifts He has given us - in a variety of ways to honor Him and serve others. Our greatest and most joyful task is to carry out the Great Commission He gave us - to make disciples of all nations - starting right here in southeast Nebraska, in our oun families and community...and expanding outward to bring His life-giving Gospel to the rest of the world, so that they might know Him, trust Him and live with Him forever! To Him be the glory!
