What a beautiful Church this community is blessed with. We attendy every Sunday while we are in Vero Beach from December thru February. We live at the Village Green and my wife rides her bicycle to Mass everyday. I support the church with gracious donations and appreciate the many mass times. But, the preists speak on many occasions about love, community, togetherness, friendships, charities, giving, and working together to make our faith strong. So, what I don't understand is why no one including the ushers are able to greet us with smiles, handshakes or even a Good Morning. Or, during mass we are lucky to get anyone to shake are hands at the sign of peace. I understand the whole germ thing, but come on everyone! If it bothers you have the Church's Worship committee supply one use handsanitizers in each row. No one seems to care about the germs of the Priest and parishioners giving them the Eucharist directly to their lips. I don't see sanitizer use with them. My point is, their seems to be a lack of friendliness here. I can only get a couple Deacons to speak to us on a regular basis. Reverend Father Priest , you need to reach out and let people know you appreciated them being with you each day, spread some words, just anything. Not a nod, and a slight shake of the hand after mass. That's if you hang around to even do that. A great excercise, would be to start announce that we are going to shake and hug at the sign of peace. Wow, that would be interesting to see. Until next year, we love you and God Bless you with miracles of Community.

Website is not user friendly. Too much to go through just to find the mass times for Christmas Eve and day. Never did find it!

We were really drawn to this parish because of the quality and depth of Catholic teaching on both faith and morals. It started with the founding pastor, Fr. Crowley, and now continues with our new pastor, Fr. John Pasquini. The web site describes very well (About Us page) what kind of experience you will have at the celebration of Mass. It is very reverent and in conformance with all the norms. The sacristans, lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are VERY well trained. As such there are no distractions allowing us to focus all our energy and attention on the Lord. Lapsed Catholics seeking a return to the faith and non-Catholics interested in the Catholic faith will find a very welcoming atmosphere here. This is quite evident on the web site so you can check my comment out at a distance. As a convert to the Catholic faith, I particularly liked how the "Rediscovering the Church" and "Exploring the Church" pages reach out in a gentle, understanding way to those people who have not gone to Mass in years and to non-Catholics respectively. The "FAQs" page contains a large amount of information about the Catholic faith, explaining many of the subjects I had been misinformed about while Protestant. It has very concise, convincing content. Fr. Pasquini holds an open Bible study class on Wednesday evenings from 7- 8 p.m..
