Heartfelt thanks to surgeon Dr. Sharan and the team at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Dobb’s Ferry. After suffering an injury resulting in a extremely painful herniated disc, the skilled medical staff gave me my life back. The nurses knew my needs before I did. The two nurses with me the longest, Irena and Alex were awesome. I am so grateful to have been in the hands of such skilled and dedicated professionals.

I went to the emergency room for something I know is an infection, no labs were ever done, a diagnosis was given which shows bacterial infection and no antibiotics were given. I mean how do you determine a bacterial infection in the first place without a lab. It must be a new day when you can see a bacterial infection without labs being drawn. I wasn't aware you can see bacteria without a microscope. Sure they see you fast but you get booted and rushed out the door too. Very poor effort on the part of the staff to adequately address patient needs. If you have a life threatening illness do yourself the favor and avoid this hoapital.

Nurses are caring and compassionate making you feel at ease. Administrators and clerical staff not helpful at all.

Dr. Kurkowski and Kathy at the ER are amazing. From having a bad experience in October of 2017, I must say I could not have been happier when I brought my mom in January of 2018.

Horrible. The Department of Health should be notified. The nurses are rude and unprofessional. My brother had major surgery, and was sent home the same day with no help. He had to return to the hospital due to severe pain. Nurses became agitated and refused to provide proper care. They want to send him home, still in pain and unable to walk, again with no help. Please, avoid this hospital, for your sake.
