Professional registration, check in, nurses, doctors and facilities. Parking validation and valet parking.  Surgical staff is the best. Outstanding day surgery staff and experience.  So well cared for during my visit. Vending machines.  Cafe on 1st Floor. Yummy soup.  Big help after surgery.

I received a call from Jason in July '16 letting me know our mutual friend has been admitted into St. Joseph. Considering the circumstances, the emergency staff were very informative with fantastic bedside manners.

They don't run this hospital like it's a hospital, they run it like it's a WELFARE FACILITY. I left before even getting to a room. The nurses in triage are the most IGNORANT and rude I've ever dealt with (mainly nurse Paula). I waited well over an hour before only getting my temp & blood pressure taken. When I finally get called, nurse Paula sees me walking towards her and shuts the door in my face and began having girl chat with another nurse. I sat and waited about 5 minutes for their chat to be over. She comes back & I tell her what was going on and she says "do I really need to write that down?" She talks to you in such a nasty tone, you would swear she's trying to catch you in a lie or something. She says "something about you just isn't adding up", as if i did something wrong simply by answering a question. She dismisses me rudely and I go back in the waiting room and I'm waiting almost 3 hours now. As I'm waiting I hear the nurses and security gaurds talking badly about patients, loudly and obnoxiously. I ask for some simple nausea medicine while I wait, I'm told I'm out of luck until I get in a bed, and that's it's going to be a while before I'm seen even though I'm the only one in waiting room. By then I had enough, I call a taxi to go home and I let the nurses know I'm leaving. As I was waiting in the waiting room for my taxi, Paula sees me and says "weren't you leaving?" Once I leave I call the nurses supervisor to complain, I was told I was going to get a call back in 20 minutes. I haven't got a call.

To sum it all up, the staff is EXTREMELY RUDE/GHETTO and they make it known they are only there for the paycheck.

Excellent staff wonderful Doctor Mark Henry did an amazing job with my surgery. The staff there made me feel very welcome and calmed my nerves about having this surgery.

Came in cause I didn't know what was happening with me so instead of going to Lbj I thought I'd go here. I sat in the lobby for about 1-2 hours just to get no results at all. All they did was press down on my stomach and decided nothing was wrong. So they sent me on my way without actually doing any testing or ex rays  This will be my last time coming here...
