Extremely wild side of Florida. Not accessible except by boat. There are small trails and a boardwalk, but the majority of the area is extremely remote. Kayak is the best way to see it as most of the waterways are about a foot deep at low tide. Might be able to get a light boat back there at high tide, but it's sketchy. We took a 16' boat with 12" of draft back pretty far at low tide and got stuck a few times. We saw some feeding sea turtles in one of the mangrove channels. Other than that, lots of birds and its QUIET!
