This store is now part of the ARC of Acadiana chain of stores.  I visited this store, and after waiting for a few minutes to get helped because the cashier was busy playing on the computer, I was told I could not buy some of the items I selected from the purchasing floor--these items consisted of some VHS tapes and books--as they were not supposed to be on display.  As one can see, it was not as if an adult film or book or weapon was being sold, so I ended up leaving the store.  This was a very poor reflection on the professionalism of the ARC, which helped relatives of mine who needed their services historically, and the people of St. Martinville deserve better.  Needless to say, you can go and shop there, but odds are, you will not be able to buy whatever item(s) you want for flimsy purposes.
