My words could never describe the Awesome haunting beauty of the Russian Orthodox church on the grounds of St. Sabbas Monastery.  The Sacred Hand Paintings  along the walls throughout the 
 Church as well as the authentic iconic Alter in its glorious gold appearance provides an experience uncompromising.
I suggest rather then wait to go to Europe to visit the Orthodox Cathedrals, do your artistic soul a favor and visit the Sacred Splendor The Archimandrite Pachome of St. Sabbas Monastery has accomplished!

I attended this place 4 teatime.from start 2 finish it is amazing.In true monastery fashion the service was cordial and professional.true Russian orthodox clothing was worn by our volunteer server.we received a full course meal of true Russian fare.all homemade,it was explained 2 us.our setting was a beautiful garden resplendid with every flower of the season.It was wonderful.

The church and the  services are absolutely beautiful. There is nothing like St. Sabbas  unless you go to the Holy Land. The Royal Eagle restaurant has very memorable High Tea on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, as well as a 5 star dinner on Thursday evenings. The atmosphere is unmatched as well as  the unique menu , costumed waiters and waitresses, and peaceful ambiance.
