Located in the northwest portion of Trumbull County in northeastern Ohio and part of the Diocese of Youngstown, Ohio, Saint William Parish has enjoyed a rich and diverse history.

Story

Saint William Parish is part of the Diocese of Youngstown, Ohio and is located on the northwest side of Warren, Ohio in Champion Township. As a Catholic Community, we see ourselves rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, committed to the teachings of our Lord and dedicated to serving one another and the world in which we live, move and have our being. Our parish is a welcoming, active and friendly community with a large variety of organizations and activities. Visitors and new parishioners are always welcome.

Mission

We the people of God, in Saint William Roman Catholic Parish in northwestern Trumbull County, strive to live our lives in the service of God. Through the waters of baptism, we have been called as individuals and as a parish to share in the ministry of Jesus.

Our mission, like Jesus’ mission is to be a light to each other in our parish and to share the light of Jesus with others. We share the light by proclaiming and teaching God’s word, celebrating the sacraments – especially the Eucharist, which forms us into the Body of Christ – and following the example of Jesus by loving and serving others.

We will, through prayer and our celebration of the Eucharist, dedicate ourselves to always keep before us the mission of Jesus. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
we will keep this vision alive in our parish and share that vision in our communities and with the world.
