Our mothers group was treated to a tour of the station and a talk that was perfectly directed to the age levels in the room, not an easy task considering it was primarily toddlers; the chief engaged the kids remarkably well- a professional accustomed to dealing with toddlers could not have done better. Not only did they cover the basics of fire safety (smoke alarms, exiting the house to a meeting place, etc.), but they had a firefighter dress in his gear as the kids watched so they could see he was not scary, had him go to each child for personal contact, then acted out the scenario in which a firefighter crawls calling out a child's name to locate him/her while the child answers back. Amazing- & always an education for the adults. Thank you Station 2!!

They suspended two heroic men who saved a girl's life for no sane reason. What is WRONG with these people.

A terribly upset woman drives up to the station with her sick husband and they were nothing but wonderful. They did all that could be done and then transported him to the hospital. They not only took care of my husband but they took care of me too. We can't thank you enough. Thank you Tom and Bernadette
