Can't recommend them highly enough!!! Stahlschmidt and their wonderful crews have been painting our 1920's home inside and out for over 30 years. They are superb and their skill and knowledge have helped us preserve and maintain a 100 year old house in excellent condition. Their craftsmanship is beyond compare. I've known Hans Stahlschmidt Painting and Restoration for 30 years and can speak to the quality and professionalism of his crews. Thirty years ago he was the only contractor I could find who knew about lead-safe work practices for our daughter's day care center and our home. Then I discovered he had a good sense of color combinations and liked his suggestions. His crews do careful and quality work and many have worked for him for years. Hans clearly cares about his customers satisfaction and the welfare and safety of his employees. He is the rare small contractor who provides health coverage for his employees.
