Stainbusters has been individually owned by Scott Cunningham for 25 years and operated with me(shawna) his daughter for the last 15 years. Until now we have worked solely on customer referrals but figured we should get with the new times!

Here are some frequently asked questions we get from our new customers.(we understand your skepticism)

Q: How come I went 4 years after buying my carpet before having it cleaned and now it seems to be dirty and need another cleaning every 8 months to a year?

A: Almost every other carpet cleaning service out there uses a mixture of extraction soap and water on your carpet, leaving some or sometimes a lot of soap in your carpet. The soap will then attract dust and dirt and become dirty. This is an old trick and is used to get repeat business more often.

Q: Why does my carpet feel crunchy after its cleaned?

A: If you feel a crunchy or roughness to your carpet that is also from the soap left in the carpet. The level of roughness depends on how cheap of a soap was used.

Q: How long will the carpet take to dry? I've been told one day before and it took 3!

A: Dry time can have wide ranges depending on a number of things. If its raining or very humid outside it will take a lot longer to dry. Some things that will speed up dry time are fans, the more the better. Heat or air, turning your thermostat up or down just a little(making it run more often) can help. Our dry time is typically 4-6 hours

Q: Why is Stainbusters different from any other carpet cleaner?

A: At Stainbusters we have 3 big advantages over the rest. First being the machine. Our machine was specially designed and built by an engineer in the 70's. There is not another one like it on the market. This machine allows us to use 5x the water pressure as other companies, blasting the dirt and stains away. Second and what people love most about our work is the dry time! Most jobs are dry within 4 hours, some rooms are even dry before we finish the house, but they are always dry by that night.
How is that possible you wonder?
We have two 6 inch blowers on our machine. A blower is what creates the suction to extract the water. Currently on the market, the largest blower available is only 4 inches. This is why most carpet cleaners leave it soaking wet for 2 days.
Last but certainly not least is HOW we clean the carpet. All the soap we use is sprayed on first by a separate container and then flushed clean with pure water, leaving your carpet soap free, just how it was when you bought it. Our competitors think we're crazy for doing it this way because some of our customers can go up to 5 years before needing it cleaned again. We don't see it that way, we take pride in a job well done and enjoy making people happy and seeing the amazement and joy on their faces. We also don't lose customers, making it more personal.
