My wife and I stayed here after a concert at Spyglass Ridge Winery down the road. The owner, Chuck, was gracious. This B&B looks like some rich people owned it over a 100 years ago. Its ornate inside and out. The place is clean and fairly priced. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed in the front room on the second floor, I'd recommend it for the view. There's light traffic at night and street lights, but I wasn't bothered by it. No traffic lights outside either. The only thing that even slightly disturbed me was the 12am bell of the Courthouse across the street. There's a supermarket directly across the street if you need anything. Downtown looks quaint and old fashioned. I didn't see any pubs so Sunbury might be a dry town. I'd pick up your growler of beer and bottle of wine at Spyglass, bring it back, and drink on the front porch for a relaxing evening. I have no constructive criticism to offer. Chuck is hairstylist too. His shop is on the first floor. What woman doesn't want to get her hair done, visit a winery, and stay at a B&B in a quaint town?

We had a great experience at the Stained Glass Inn! I was very happy to find a B&B that allowed children. It is a beautiful old house, with many great touches, like the old elevator. We only had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, but Chuck made us feel welcome. The food was very good - not fancy, but tasty and plentiful. The room was lovely, with an anteroom attached where the children slept. It is small, but that just lends to the feeling of being a welcome guest in a friend's home. The location was perfect for us, right in the heart of town, with the town square across the street. There is no parking area for the inn, but parking was not a problem. And it lives up to it's name, with many beautiful pieces of stained glass throughout. We will definitely be back!
