Lady was rude on the phone when I tried to order a birthday cake. They couldn't do half chocolate and half white and when I asked about how chocolate is the chocolate, she didn't really want to talk. I requested colorful and vibrant flowers and all we got was 3 yellow flowers. When I began to ask about options for the frosting, the lady cut me off and said "thank you!" And hung up on me. Icing was good, decoration looked like a kid did it, very sloppy. The cake was VERY dry! The cake was cheap which was a plus but I got what we paid for. Did try a cream horn and they were very good! So, stick with the cookies and cream horn but look elsewhere for a cake!

Love this place reasonably priced friendly service never takes me more than 10 minutes. You won't find doughnuts or pastries like this anywhere else in southeast Iowa I have been going here for 30 years

Family-owned deliciousness! This bakery opened in 1967 and has been in the family ever since. People drive from miles around for their famous cream horns not to mention donuts, cakes and pies. A true gem of Keokuk!
