I have been going to this library since I was in grammar school. I enjoy that it is preserved and is in it's original state historical to us who grew up in Modesto. Just beautiful! It is clean and not damaged what so ever. This is my favorite library! 📚 My children are now able to experience the large "children's library" area designed just for them not to forget all the activities offered. The area also has computers loaded with learning game's and a huge selection of book's and movies to check out. In fact the largest I have seen for a children's section in public library. I also enjoy many books from this library and we make weekly trips as a family. Staff is helpful, friendly and excellent at making sure we feel safe. Stanislaus Library is the best! #1 💖📖✌

I love going to our library, Yes it is old, so am I. The books are what you are there for. Enjoy the time you have.

Not bad until you realize that you've been hit up for change 500 times in one visit. The city refuses to help our homeless so they live in the library during the day.

Went there for passport assistance and submitted all info only to be told by Passport office that they received our package just a week ago and that means the Library held onto our paper work for one week!! Also they did not help because the office said they needed a different type of birth certificate which I submitted to Library Passport people and no one told me this birth certificate would not work! Do not waste your time to go there for this type of service!! Also library looks very old and outdated!
