I opened the first Star Liquors in 1972 at the age of 26 and 40 years later our friendly staff continues to offer the personal attention the large box stores and chains cannot provide. Our focus continues to be value prices and convenience with an ever expanding selection that includes any special product order needs you may have.

Customer service sucks, just came there the guy doesn't check the ladies money in front of me but wants to check mines. Why cause black people have fake money... I will never support a place that acts and treat less of a human.

Two older ladies were working when I came in. Didn't greet me even though I said hello. They talked to each other. Got what I wanted came to counter and said hello how are you guys? And they didn't say anything to me and kept talking. Took awhile to even get them to notice me. I work in customer service and you guys need to DROP the conversation when a customer comes up, knowledge and be friendly . Not coming here again.

Closed 4 minutes before ten pm seriously?! With the workers looking through the door and wondow like we don't have any idea why you are possibly here?!?! Are you the dumbest people ever seriously... Honestly thr worst customer service I've ever seen yelling at us threw the glass saying we can't help you were closed! I Will never ever go here again you shouldn't either it's a horrible experience time and time again!!!

The prices were good. The young man behind the counter was polite, however he could not answer my question regarding what information they were gathering (data mining) about their customers by requiring a driver's license be swiped into their system to make a purchase. How much information do they need? Only proof of age with an authorized photo ID, not the customer's name, address and any other information their system might suck in, off of a driver's license. This is called data mining and the information about unsuspecting customers is sold to marketing firms. This is one of the places SPAM comes from. Chances are they will say it's EASIER for their employees to check IDs by not having to think or to calculate age by DOB, and to more easily abide by the state liquor laws. However, I believe this is a training issue that Star Liquor should address, rather than subjecting its customers into providing more information about themselves than is needed. This is a PRIVACY issue. I will not purchase from Star Liquor if I need to provide more than visible proof of my age on my ID, not a swipe of my ID, taking in my private information!
