6/12/2022 = 3 Star = 1st time in this branch , usually i go to Anaheim branch , we bought warm starbread and we're happy on the bread , the only thing that we're not happy is the charges extra if you use a credit card. Even Debit card they charge you if you use as a credit card , they want you to use debit card with pin so will avoid the charges , i just dont prefer to use pin in the store, but we still coming back if we have cash on hand .
Always fresh yummy famous starbread. We are so addicted that we could finish the whole box. I want to credit Tin Uy employee for she is very pleasant and helpful as always. I was able to talk to the owner Maria and was impressed how nice and down to earth person she is. !!! Congratulations on your business.
Walked into store and it smelled like disinfectant!! Bread tasted like Lysol disinfectant which is used to clean the counters. They are not careful about removing the food bags when cleaning. The cleaning stuff transfer thru the plastic bags then into the bread. I told the vendor to tell the manager to change their cleaning procedures so the food does not taste like disinfectant.
The senoritas are DELICIOUS. They have some other options- donuts, breads, brownies that are mediocre. The lady that assisted us had an amazing attitude!
The señoritas are an all time Xmas party gift for any house during the holidays. With a cup of coffee or hot chocolate they can't be beat!
If you are looking for something sweet, then look no further. The Senorita is sweet and buttery soft. However, the butter and sugar made the bread too mushy for my liking. I also tried the Ube and Guava Malasadas. I'm not a fan of the artificial flavor. And to messy with the sugar coating.
Great place to quickly pick up the star of any party. Grab some señorita bread and donuts and marvel at how your friends profess their love for you. The bitsos and malasadas are basically filled donuts. It's amazing how much their selection has grown since they opened almost a year ago!
Picked up warm starbread, brownies, red velvet cupcakes, and then a cupcake that's a Filipino cupcake. At any rate the customer service was excellent. And the Filipino cupcakes we're very good according to my granddaughter. We brought home some bread and cupcakes for my dad's caretakers. They are Filipino and I thought they might like a little treat. The red velvet cupcakes were delicious. I'm sure we'll visit again it's right next door to the orthodontist.
Starbread is a welcome addition to the Torrance/Carson area offering another venue for "Senorita," a sweet buttery bread that is a welcome accompaniment to your morning coffee/tea. Until recently one had to travel to the Artesia/Cerritos area to procure something similar. In comparison Starbread's Senoritas are larger and more consistent in form. I can only speculate they allow the product to proof properly opposed to their "Best" competitor that produces a shriveled chewy doughy offering. I hope with continued exposure and increased sales they do not fall into the same trap and sacrifice quality for quantity sales.
Kinda sad this doesn’t have extras like the pizza sticks or whatever it is that they have at the one at home in Sac . But the señorita bread still hits every time !!
