Starlight Express is a family-operated business that has served both new and loyal customers since it was founded in 1995. The restaurant's humble beginnings were rooted in Arcadia on Foothill Boulevard, and the small restaurant had but three tables and some bar stools for dine-in customers. Shortly after, Starlight expanded and established a newer and much larger restaurant in Old Town Monrovia next to Pavilions.
Over the years, the Starlight team has tired experienced Chinese chefs who explore new dishes and have greatly expanded the menu with their creativity and culinary abilities. Starlight not only boasts a large range of options from their Quick-Pick steam table, but also a vast range of delectable dishes that are cooked to order.
