I work with Mannys auto sales, Inc a used car dealership. My experiences at the MVD are always pleasant. The staff at the mvd are knowledgeable and respectful. Sure, the system is not perfect but that is to be expected with any government facility, however, the employees at the MVD are very kind and understanding. All the negative reviews here are from people with no people skills and/or very impatient. They want everything handed to them just because they have to wait to be helped. Learn to he patient and more respectful to others. That's all, thanks.

Tried to register my car. First time I went in they would not help me because they wouldn't take my word for it that my lien/title holder was in fact the bank I had financed with. My paperwork from the dealership said it was the dealership bc at the time of sale, of course, the loan paperwork had not yet been processed. But no matter what I said they would not help me. While I was at the window, I asked them if it would help if I called the dealership to verify to them and they said if I wanted to do that I had to get another number and wait all over again. I was livid...I had already been there almost an hour. So I leave and verify with the dealership that the bank is indeed my title/lien holder and acquire their mailing address as requested. I go early the next morning to try again with the info I was instructed to bring and the lady at the window was totally rude. First question she asked was "is the dealership doing your paperwork?" Wait...huh? I said all the paperwork I had from the dealership was what I brought and she seemed annoyed to even have to look at it. She then filled out a form and told me to wait to be called again. By the time I reached the 3rd person I was finally able to get clear answers, which is why I decided to give this place 2 stars instead of 1. All of this took about 2 hours in total

Apparently none of the workers know how to answer the phone! After 30 minutes for someone to answer I hung up! Total waste of taxpayers money!

Literally the worst DMV. If you can go to the one in Los Alamos, they're fast and they are more flexible about what paperwork you can bring.

Worst service ever, rude and you are just another number to them. Some staff tries to help but some people and the windows think they govern the state.
