Don't believe the negative reviews. If you show a little love to the good folks at Stater Bros (a great store imho), most will respond as nicely as people do anywhere you go. I don't expect people to smile or jump for joy at my presence, only my friends, but that's what I pay them for. Long lines? Yeah? Every store has lines at one time or another, regardless of their "promises", but Stater Bros at least has good prices and products that make it worth the wait. So, be happy for those good people who are handling and packaging groceries for you and I day and night... and give them a good reason to smile. And, if they don't... so what. Don't be bashing them or their business, just because you can. Quit whining and go clean your room.

DO Believe the Negative Reviews I'm not one to leave hardcore bashing reviews unless the company truly deserves it, but MOST of the reviews I have read about this particular Staters are true. I've been to this store about 15-20 times and they are always one-two check stands short of being able to move people at an acceptable rate. I have also noticed that the employees seem to give off a bit of a negative vibe, most likely due to the poor management of the store. Having managed retail for 20+ years and dealing with staffing and FTE issues, I get it from a business standpoint why they run lean. But this simply means that something else is amiss here and needs to be done to shift resources towards having the appropriate number of cashier's, when needed. In regards to the product and price, Staters has good choices and the best prices, bar none. But unfortunately, because of the long lines at checkout, I don't mind spending a few extra bucks by going to the Ralphs down the street and being able to get in and out in a timely fashion.

There is one check lane open and at least 30 people in line. No exaggeration! 945 pm on a Friday. I understand call out and such...but certainly there must be a manager in the store that can open a lane.

Like this market a lots; shop there almost every week. I hate the long line only. I would give 5 star, for this reason, I can only give 4 star instead. Please hire more employees !!

Not the friendliest cashiers. No eye contact. No "Hello". A lot of talking personal business with other employees. Too bad, I love their Meat Dept. sales!
