I've been shopping at the Colton Staters for approximately 9 or 10 years now, and I used to not think much of it either way (most every place has it's great employees, and those that seem to have been trained by attending Donald Trump's school of awkward, angry, sexist, or dismissive customer service;). I didn't realize how subpar it was until I visited the newer Staters on Lugonia Ave. This one has a full bakery, butcher, deli, and even an olive bar and salad bar. The one rather important difference I noticed, is the Colton Staters does not have handicap scooters (which I learned the hard way, after I'd broken my ankle) so I actually became a regular at the Lugonia store. Now, the only time I EVER shop at the Colton store is when I'm rushed, or need to hurry back, as this one's closer to home. One other complaint is just that it seems the cashiers seem to not be the best at customer service (just seems they have more bad days than good, and treat you as if there's line's out the door even if you're the only person in the entire store!  I hate to give ANYONE a negative review, but their customer service is so poor compared to ANYWHERE else I shop, that I feel it's worth mentioning.

Steve Buscemi was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Dorothy (Wilson), a restaurant hostess, and John Buscemi, a sanitation worker. He is of Italian (father) and English, Dutch, and Irish (mother) descent. He became interested in acting during his last year of high school. After graduating, he moved to Manhattan to study acting with John Strasberg. He began writing and performing original theatre pieces with fellow actor/writer Mark Boone Junior. This led to his being cast in his first lead role in Parting Glances (1986). Since then, he has worked with many of the top filmmakers in Hollywood, including Quentin Tarantino, Jerry Bruckheimer, and The Coen Brothers. He is a highly respected actor.

Staff and store attendants were extremely helpful and polite. Great variety of items, very clean.
