Great option for a quick burger spot My kids love this place . The burgers are good and for the price you can’t go wrong. Ms.V is amazing and so is her staff . This place is totally awesome. The Staff is very professional and extremely pleasant. They have fun together. I've gone to this location twice on my vacation and always make it a point to eat here every time I'm down for vacation. The food is fresh and tasty. This location of Steak and Shake is ALWAYS an exceptional dining experience. Keep up the good work!!!
This store still seems to be having issues. It took close to 25 minutes to get my meal. While I was waiting, I snapped a great picture of the cook talking on her cell phone, which I saw her do twice. Anyway, I had to ask for my meal after 20 min. I think they set out a meal that wasn't mine. And it sat for at least 15 min on the counter. I heard the girl say it was order #150, which may have actually been a drive through order. I received my meal soon after asking about my order #151. There were only two customers ahead of me, not counting drive-through . The two customers ahead of me were dinning together and also seemed to have an issue with their order, though I don’t know what the issue was. I'm not seeking any free meals. I just though that the Steak -n- Shake franchise would like to know that the last time I went to this store I had a similar, though slightly worse experience. That was back in March. I think I finally learned my lesson. From now on, I’m sticking to the Trinity, FL store. They are always on point!
Okay ... I wouldn't have posted this on Google, but I cannot get DoorDash to respond or refund me, nor does anyone at this Steak 'n Shake location even bother to pick up the telephone when I tried to call phone rang at least 30 times, with no option to even leave a message. I ordered a burger and fries through DoorDash for delivery. Not only was the bag not sealed at all so the burger went straight into the garbage, but the fries were missing not that I would have eaten them either in an unsealed bag. My receipt clearly shows I paid for the burger and fries. Used to visit this location periodically when I craved a burger, but never again.
Absolutely Ridiculous! I go in there with my whole family and my whole family orders and when I go to order for my family... their system goes down. Though I didn't know this until after trying to put my order in 4 times. After waiting 25 minutes to put my order in, they tell me if I want to pay cash, they'll do it that way. I told the guy this is Ridiculous! Why in the world wouldn't you comp that after this much inconvenience. I will NEVER come back here again! I'm seeing why their reviews are terrible... poor leadership!
Kevin, the manager in drive thru is five stars. He dresses really nice, suit shirts and has a super pleasant personality. He makes sure our order is always perfect. Love the Frisco melt, double cheeseburgers, fries and Nutella milkshakes, which are always amazing and a good value. Thank you Kevin for always giving us the BEST service. The building is beautiful, clean, food is delicious and the fries are always fresh and delicious.
Portions was way too small for a $25 two person meal. Fries were thin as hell. Steak burger was nothing more than a couple steak-ums smashed together. Way smaller than expected. Milkshake was probably the best I ever had tho. Top tier. Shawty walkin around interacting with customers seemed like she didn’t believe me when I told her I order cheese fries but got regular one. Then proceeded to look at part of the receipt to confirm her suspicions but i immediately pointed her to my original receipt, problem solved but not a good customer interaction. If I visit tampa in the future I’ll give it another go but for now, 2 stars.
I like steak and shake. Admittedly I haven't been in a long time because they weren't allowing inside dining. This location is seemingly clean for a fast food style restaurant. The "service" model is very different now so be prepared to order from a kiosk and have your name called when any part of your order is ready. My daughter had the grilled cheese and it looked good. Her fries were crispy and hot. I haven't had the chili 5 way in so long I can remember if it tastes different or not. In my mind it tastes way different, but perhaps it's because I've had that dish elsewhere when traveling. It was ok. Nothing great, but not terrible. The base of the sauce almost tastes like BBQ sauce which threw me off. They don't have tobasco sauce so bring your own. Overall I'll go back because my daughter loves the milkshakes and the burgers are pretty good. Parking: They share a back lot with local business. Might be challenging on a busy day when Plant High School is open. Kid-friendliness: They have a special kids menu which includes a drink with an upgrade for a milkshake.
Came in pretty close to closing time . My food was still cooked extremely well. Probably the best I have had at a steak in shake and I am 35 years old . Ty Food: 5/5
